Port Campbell Holiday Rental Terms and Conditions
• A $500 Bond hold will be charged 2 days before check for all non-Airbnb Bookings. This will be released within 7 days from the hold being applied. • We request ID from the guest making the booking.
• Port Campbell Holiday Rental can never offer full refund. 5% minimum is kept for payment processing fee.
• Treat our home as if it were your own and be respectful of our lovely neighbours. • No smoking indoors. • Our home is not suitable for schoolies, hens or buck’s parties.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• Free cancellation one month before check in, 50% cancellation 2 weeks before check and full fee if cancelled in the 2 weeks before check in. Payment is to be received in full 1 month before check in.
CHECK-IN/OUT:
• Check-in time is 3pm on the arrival date, and check-out time is 10am on departure date.
• Early check in & late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability and extra charges will apply.
• Check-in/check-out and key collection/return procedure will be as follows: return the key to the key safe when checking out, unless special arrangements have been made prior to arrival.
UNAVAILABLITY:
• If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any monies paid will be refunded in full.
PARTIES & FUNCTIONS:
• Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited.
• Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
• We have the right to evict any guest during their stay if WE deem the behaviour to be antisocial. LINEN AND TOWELS: • We supply bed linen and bath towels. Any damage to linen will incur a charge.
• Cleaning and linen change service available weekly by request, at an extra charge to the guest, please let management know if you request this. YOUR
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You must comply with all applicable House Rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours.
• You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion). Any damage not reported or found on inspection for the rental will be deducted from the bond.
• Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay, extra charges will apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund. No visitors allowed after 9:30pm. If any persons other than registered tenants are invited on the Property then the total bond may be forfeited. Also, tenants will be evicted on the spot if damage is found.
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. The noise curfew is 10pm.
• Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, and all dishes washed and packed away. You are responsible for removing any excess rubbish that does not fit in the outside bins. Charges will be issued for any rubbish that is left outside the wheelie bin. There are free rubbish drop-off points for part-time residents. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. • Extra cleaning charges will be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the normal cleaning fee which will be deducted from the security bond.
• If there is a BBQ on the property, it must be left clean otherwise an additional charge of $100 will be applied. • All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
• The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned to the key safe or as otherwise directed.
• You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. A $50 fee will be charged for any lost keys.
• Smoking is not permitted in the Property. A $250 fee will be applied to any property found to have been smoked in. This will be taken from the bond. • No illicit drugs to be brought onto the property or persons under the influence to be allowed onto the property. Under-age drinking is not permitted on the property. If found, Police will be contacted as well as both guarantors.
PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS:
• In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
• Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Management prior to departure from the Property.
• Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of Management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property. Port Campbell Holiday Rental cannot accept responsibility for personal property such as cameras etc, that are left unattended in your holiday accommodation. Port Campbell Holiday Rental is not liable for any damage or loss of property which as person may sustain during your stay
